Lauren Shawl in Wool

The Lauren Shawl in Wool is a piece with a remarkable story behind it. Made by the Nahuas — an ancient Mexican civilisation with a rich tradition of textile craft — each shawl is entirely hand spun and hand dyed using natural pigments, then woven on wooden pedal looms that have been used for generations.

The result is a shawl that is 100% wool, completely unique and full of character. Each one features a hand embroidered geometric scene — choose between stars, birds or flowers — and no two are exactly the same.

Generous in size and wonderfully warm, this is a piece that carries with it the skill and tradition of the people who made it.
