Searching for an aesthetic that fills him with nostalgia for a time he wasn’t yet born, or like a scene from a movie, but one you’ve seen once as a child but can now only remember as a visual still in your memory, Emile works only with film and thrives on its elusiveness and serendipitous outcomes.
