Some collaborations feel meant to be and when Monsoon came knocking, the answer was an instant yes.

I was thrilled and genuinely humbled to be invited to contribute to the Brands Bazaar section for Monsoon — a British brand with a real eye for beauty, colour, craftsmanship and ethical sourcing. They design in-house, source globally and are dedicated to delivering keepsake quality. Values that resonate deeply with everything La Galeria Elefante stands for.

Back to the Beginning

Monsoon has a wonderful origin story. A brand was born out of a bohemian adventure, celebrating the colours, patterns and craftsmanship encountered on travels around the world. In recent years, Monsoon has been on a journey back to those roots — a rediscovery that led them all the way back to Ibiza, the very birthplace of the Monsoon concept.

A search for creative souls who share a free-spirited attitude and inspire their products today brought them to our door in Santa Gertrudis. They visited La Galeria Elefante several times, sourcing pieces for their sustainable Brands Bazaar selection and spending time getting to know the story behind the collection.

The Interview

As well as selecting pieces from the shop, Monsoon interviewed me about my teenage years in Ibiza, the women who have inspired me and the passions that drive what I do every day. It was a wonderful conversation and you can read the full interview here.
